Spectacles of Disruption
"I paint bodies in flux. Figures merge and blur
within painterly surfaces, forming polymorphic shapes in states of
continual transformation; never fixed, never complete.
My practice examines how mythological thinking persists within
contemporary technological culture. If ancient myths offered ways of
understanding invisible forces, today's algorithmic systems
increasingly extract, mirror, and shape visibility, identity,
belonging, and exclusion. Digital technologies no longer function as
neutral tools. Instead, algorithmic systems operate as contemporary
myth-making structures, reflecting and amplifying cultural anxieties,
biases, and relations of power."
