Brigitta Kocsis’ work makes painting its subject and its medium. Her concerns in working in abstraction and figuration enable a unique dialogue against a background of different styles. The graphic images are painted in a layered, collage-like style combined with painterly expressions and incorporate references to the figure, technology, biology, humor, and art history. |
